Period cravings – When your body speaks

It is common to hear cravings during pregnancy, but is there something such as cravings during periods? Is it all in our heads, or is there a biological reason behind it?

It’s important to remember that cravings are normal and can be managed by planning ahead and making healthy food choices. Instead of giving in to cravings for high-calorie or processed foods, try satisfying them with healthy alternatives such as fruits, vegetables, or whole grains. It’s also important to stay hydrated, drink enough water during your period.
