Don’t talk “bad’ about your baby

Although your baby cannot speak at this stage, he can understand you more than you can imagine.

Babies can understand adult conversations

When parents meet other parents, they tend to discuss about their baby’s temperament. You may not notice it, but your child is listening to your conversation intently. Never underestimate your child, even at a very young age, they can understand more words than they can say. Babies can even understand complex conversations much earlier than their parents thought.

Don’t label your baby as a ‘naughty baby’

Words matter. Your child may have some memory of early childhood embedded in his/her subconscious mind. Even if your baby does not understand certain words but he will remember and understand it when he grows up. So don’t label your child as a naughty baby because it will make him less confident in future. In short, never label your child. He/she is far more capable than you can imagine, he/she has much more potential waiting to be discovered.
