4 amazing snack box idea for your TUNA loving kid

Tuna is a type of saltwater fish that is commonly eaten as a food source. It is high in protein and omega-3 fatty acids, making it a healthy food option for kids. Tuna can be consumed fresh, canned, or as part of a dish.

And when we say part of a dish, is tuna sandwich the first or only thing that comes to your mind? Here are some ideas to incorporate tuna in your kid’s meal.

Tuna Fried Rice

You need:

Onion

Garlic

Carrot

Cooked rice

Soy sauce

Mixed vegetables

Tuna

Fry some onion, garlic and carrots, add cooked rice and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly. Then add canned tuna for protein, mixed vegetables for fiber, sweetness and crunch.

Tuna Cutlet

You need:

Potatoes

Onion

Coriander leaves

Egg

Chilli

Salt

Tuna

Add Tuna, chopped coriander, a hint of red chilli, red onion and an egg to mashed potatoes. Form patties, lightly fry them until browned on both sides. You can put the cutlet between small buns and make a burger.

Tuna Pita Pocket

You need:

Pita bread

Corn

Cherry tomato

Cucumber

Lettuce

Tuna

Combine tuna, corn, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes to make the filling. Cut the pita bread in half, make a pocket, line with lettuce. Finally add the tuna mix. 

Tuna Tofu Omelette

You need:

Eggs

Soft tofu

Coriander leaves

Chilli

Onion

Beat the eggs, add tuna with finely chopped soft tofu, coriander, red chilli and red onion. Mix both together. Pour the mixture on to a flat pan to form a round omelette. Fry until cooked through.
