You should not give babies antibiotics at will, because it is easy to produce drug resistance or cause allergies. Antibiotics must be taken under the guidance of a doctor before they are safe.

If your baby has a fever below 38.5 ° C, it is recommended to use only physical cooling methods. If it is above 38.5 ° C, it is better to give them fever medicine or send them to hospital for immediate treatment.

Babies who suffer from whooping cough will have paroxysmal spastic cough and chirping inhalation. You should pay attention to isolate the baby, keep the home ventilated, but do not allow the baby to catch cold, pay attention to diet adjustment, try to eat dry, soft and digestible food, and release sputum in time.

Hard water bath can easily irritate your baby’s skin and cause skin problems such as dryness and dermatitis. Therefore, when bathing your baby, you should choose some mild, acidic bath products that are safer and closer to the natural skin of your baby.

Make sure your little one is eating frequently enough and getting enough milk during their feedings. However, try not to push baby to finish the bottle if they signal they are full.

At 3 months, according to National Immunization Program by Ministry of Health Malaysia, your baby should receive first dose of DTaP (combination of diphtheria (D), tetanus (T) and acellular pertussis (aP), Hib vaccine and polio vaccine.
